For every wedding booked with Amelia Island Beach Wedding a donation will be made on your behalf to "Trinity".
Its purpose is to support and fund neurological research, training, and treatment for brain aneurysms, strokes, and other cerebrovascular conditions at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital and Baptist Neurological Institute, or any other similar local, regional, national or international facility; and to raise awareness and educate the public about the causes, identification, diagnoses, prevention, and treatment of brain aneurysms, strokes, and other cerebrovascular conditions.
At age nine, Trinity was diagnosed with multiple brain aneurysms. Over the years, she went through many brain surgeries. In 2015, Trinity was scheduled for open brain surgery for an aneurysm clipping, but two days prior to her pre-op her aneurysm ruptured. She passed away on June 30th, 2015 at age fourteen.
Trinity's legacy and kind spirit continue to impact so many lives today. The Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in honor of Trinity.
Marriage License
Marriage Licenses must be obtained in Florida for the Notary or Minister to perform the ceremony in the State of Florida.
Licenses can be obtained at any courthouse in Florida and you can get married anywhere in the state of Florida.
Your marriage by the Florida Notary or Minister is legal worldwide. What you need: Bride and Groom must be 18 years of age, and both be present. Photo Identification, such as a driver's license, is required. No blood test is required For Non-Florida residents: there is NO waiting period.
For Florida residents: Either a 3-Day wait period or a 4-Hour counseling session is required. If either party has been divorced in the last 6 months, a copy of the divorce decree is required.
The marriage license remains valid for 60 days after date of issue.

Working with Todd Smith and Amelia Island Beach Weddings far surpassed my expectations right from the start. We wanted a simple but elegant beach wedding but I really didn't have the vision like many women do. I just knew I wanted simple. After a few conversations and ultimately describing my house as Pottery Barn style, Todd got it immediately and the rest was taken care of in terms of beach style. Then the ceremony - my husband and I tried to come up with our own vows but that really wasn't us either. Based on getting to know me, Todd chose Patrick to officiate the ceremony. Patrick interviewed us, our friends and family at length and captured us and our relationship beautifully. To this day I wish I had a copy of the ceremony - due to stress and nerves I barely remember it other than he captured us both so well our friends and family were commenting "he sure figured you two out!". The best thing for me to come out of the experience other than a fantastic wedding day was a friend for life. There are people you meet and just know you trust them to handle the most sensitive and stressful of things in your life, which a wedding day sure can be, and Todd is that person. I am so happy to have met him. I 100% percent recommend him and his team for your wedding needs. He goes above and beyond every step of the way.

As the mother of the bride living in Savannah with the bride and groom living in New Orleans, trying to plan a beach wedding on Amelia Island for 120 + guests was almost a three ring circus! Todd was wonderful and his attention to detail just what we needed. He can do anything or everything depending upon how involved the bride and groom want to be. Every aspect of the ceremony was perfect because he had already thought about it and made the corrections and adjustments. The "staging" of the wedding site was perfect for pictures and sunset in the background. Todd is a real pro.I want to take the time out to say thank you soo much!!!!!!! Our wedding was more than what we imagined. My family is still talking about the setup. To anyone who is thinking about using Todd for your beach wedding..... this is your guy. I felt as if I have know him all my life. I wish I had a do over bottom that I could push and do the wedding all over again that's how beautiful it was...... Family came in from all over and everyone enjoyed a simple but beautiful wedding site with a sunset reception at the Golf Club. He was so affordable and went out of his way to make things work exactly the way we asked! Best part was the package deal, it could include everything I needed which was extremely simple on my part! We wouldn't trade anything that happened that day and night! Affordable, reliable and he kept reminding it was OUR day so the choice was ours on everything!

I live in Missouri and my husband lives in Texas so getting together in Florida to plan a wedding was not going to happen. Todd did an amazing job arranging our wedding and helping to plan the reception with nothing but phone calls and emails to guide him. All we had to do was show up. He suggested the Beach Club at the Golf Course at Amelia Island for the reception and it was just what we needed for a hot August wedding. The whole thing was perfect!My wife and I did our wedding memorial day weekend on the beach in Fernandina. We found Todd online and met with him, maybe 2 months before the wedding. He was fantastic from the very start. Todd helped us plan the wedding and find a place for the reception (florida house inn was perfect for our 60 person reception). Anytime we had questions, Todd addressed them very thoroughly and professionally. The day of the wedding was perfect, Todd and his crew setup our beach wedding just the way we wanted it and all our guests said it was one of the best beach weddings any of them have ever attended. If your still on the fence about whether or not to use Todd, I would put my professional reputation on Todd's ability to make your day perfect. Hope this helps.

Todd was the wedding planner for Leah and me just over 2 weeks ago. He gets a rave review!
We're not sure how he did it ... We were lucky to find him when we were planning a wedding in a place we had never visited or seen. He made many visits to the bakery, hotel, restaurants, etc. He set up for the wedding on the beach. Ours was a small wedding by number of attendees, but he coordinated the details like it was a big wedding. He was there every day for nearly a week ... He popped up everywhere and handled many, many things personally. It felt like we were the only wedding he was working on, and he felt like a member of our family.
We loved Todd, our families loved Todd, and it was a great wedding!

Amelia Island, Florida Marriage Licenses
Getting married on Amelia Island does require a marriage license that can be obtained from the Nassau County Clerk of Courts. Don’t let these important details and requirements go unattended when planning for your big day!
To obtain a marriage license, the bride and groom must both be 18 years or older and visit the Nassau County Clerk's office together and bring their driver’s license and Social Security Number (you don’t need to bring your social security card, just the number). Non-U.S. Citizens may submit a naturalization number, immigration number or passport number. The process for obtaining a marriage license normally takes no more than 30 minutes. When the application is filed, the license is issued immediately.For Florida residents who file certification that they both have completed a state-sanctioned marriage preparation course within the past 12 months, there is no waiting period. For Florida residents who have not taken the course, there is a full three-day waiting period between issuance of the license and the time it becomes valid for use. The waiting period does not apply to nonresidents of Florida. If one party is a resident of Florida and the other party is a nonresident the three-day waiting period is waived only if the Florida resident takes the state-sanctioned marriage preparation course, but no discount is given.A Florida marriage license is valid for 60 days from date of validity. The marriage license must be returned to the clerk's office for recording within 10 days after the marriage is performed. The fee for a marriage license is $93.50 USD. If the referenced marriage preparation course is completed by both parties, the fee is $61.00 USD. Payments are accepted in the form of cash, check, money order or credit card.
